Losslessly remux broadcast and web video (.ts, .mpg/.vob, .mkv, broken .mov) into a QuickTime-ready .mov without re-encoding. Five-rung escalation ladder (pure copy → PCM audio → genpts → elementary-stream timeline rebuild → scoped re-encode) with probe/diagnose/verify scripts, dual-track PCM-access + bit-exact-original audio default, field-coded (PAFF) H.264 glitch repair, and decoded-pixel-identity verification of every output. Every codec/container fact verified empirically against a named ffmpeg version; the source file is never touched.
