Hooks forward Claude Code events (PreToolUse, PostToolUse, UserPromptSubmit, SessionStart/End, SubagentStop, Stop) into the Synaptic dashboard. The bundled MCP server (synaptic) ships 18 tools so Claude can sd_recall, sd_reflect (Tier 3 synthesis over local results), sd_research, sd_list_memories, sd_get_memory, sd_update_memory, sd_get_audit, sd_get_budget, plus the legacy report_event / report_memory_save. Slash commands /sd-recall, /sd-research, /sd-status, /sd-flag wrap the highest-value flows.
