CANVAS design-system→code methodology: canvas-coordinator master dispatches the Capture → Audit → Norm-check → Vectorize → Assemble native single-framework pipeline with a blocking generator≠verifier gate at every stage and a fail-closed tokens-before-code PreToolUse hook-gate (instance of the AD/AID-PDLC sub-cycle contract, ADR-010; hook-gate=Yes per the ADR-012 test). Implements RFC-021: master + 7 role agents (canvas-designer/-guardian/-tester/-porter-storybook/-coder/-porter-framework + the independent canvas-storybook-validator) + 6 skills + /canvas-init/-audit/-review/-rule + canvas-gate (permissionDecision:deny, exit2 fail-closed) reading a per-branch tokens-active state file. Topology: native single-framework — CANVAS generates in the project's one declared framework (resolved via Step 0; Lit/Web-Components is one selectable target, not canonical); tokens via the project's token tool (Style-Dictionary is one option); an optional multi-framework wrapper path is out-of-default (ADR-016). Requires the Pencil MCP.
